ILLUSTRATOR INFORMATION
Therapy Horse Children's Books is looking for an illustrator to provide the drawings for this new series of books. All illustrators are invited to submit drawings.
Artists and Illustrators of all ages are encouraged to apply. I would love to receive drawings from children especially! I'm interested in a style that will appeal to younger age groups so color and line strength is important to us.
Depending on the submissions we receive, I may choose one illustrator for all books or one illustrator for each book.
Prior to submitting drawings, please review the book excerpts to get a feel for each book. The illustrations will require scenes of children; adults; horses and animals interacting. The settings may be in the country or in town so buildings will be included, primarily barns and indoor/outdoor riding arenas.
Please send your drawings to me via email or a postal service. After evaluating all submittals I will contact those whose work will best meet the book's requirements and discuss reviewing their work in person.
The selected illustrator will be provided with a contract outlining the work required as well as an offer of payment.
